A common challenge in AP Biology is that understanding the content is only part of the job. Students also need to apply what they know to unfamiliar situations, interpret graphs and experimental results, and explain their reasoning clearly in free-response questions. Tutoring can focus on the specific skills that are causing difficulty, whether that is understanding the underlying biology, working through data, or figuring out what an AP question is actually asking.

Closer to the AP exam, sessions can shift toward exam preparation. We can work through my bank of AP-style questions, identify patterns in the mistakes they are making, review weak content areas, and practice explaining answers clearly under time pressure.
