About Me
Hello! I'm Deanna and I tutor IB and AP Biology, focusing on making connections and meeting students where they are to guide them into confidence and success. I have over 20 years of experience in teaching and private tutoring and hold a California teaching credential for biology as well as a Master's in Educational Technology. I am currently an IB Examiner and create explainer videos for IB Bio test questions for Revision Village.
Sessions
I meet with students in a Zoom room where we work on collaborative whiteboards focused around student questions and concerns.

I provide tailored tutoring sessions focused on individual student needs and pace, fostering a deep understanding of biology concepts. Rate: $95/hr
Style
I focus on a Socratic method, asking questions to gauge students' knowledge and then work to fill in gaps or misunderstandings. I can also take a direct approach if we need to build knowledge from the ground up
Free Intro Session
